Cloud computing, wireless networking, and other industry trends are pushing today’s access-control tools beyond their limits. Providentially, the same technologies that are taxing today's security systems and encumbering users are also offering better solutions. This lecture talks about how mobile phones, social networks, and personal-information repositories can contribute to a new vision for access control. The promise is a security system that is firm and flexible, but also contextually aware and self-effacing—more like a doorman than a bouncer.

View this recorded webcast and find out how to:

  • Design a smarter system that combines security and flexibility
  • Leverage the technology contained in mobile phones, social networking, and personal information repositories
